Recognised and covered by all major health insurers.
You may be eligible for refund,in some cases up to €40 per session, from the major health insurers. Check you individual policy to confirm your level of cover. An excess may apply.

From 2009, Tax relief, at a rate of 21% can claimed from Chartered Physiotherapy fees subject to completing the Med 1 form at the end of the tax year and submitting it to the Revenue Commissioners.
